The original idea for creating unique jackets came during my 2nd deployment in Afghanistan, where I was stationed in Kabul. Every Sunday, a group of local merchants came to our base selling Afghan arts and crafts. They had tailors who could make just about  anything. As a New Orleans native, and die-hard Saints fan, I asked if they could make me a gold and black jacket. Once I saw the jacket, I knew it would be a hit, so I had 4 more made for my family as Christmas gifts. The jackets were so popular, I had several additional jackets made in different color patterns. The rest, as they say, is history. After finding a partner that was as enthusiastic about the concept as was I, Digsbylehigs was born in a hot tub in Charleston, WV. These jackets are perfect for any festive occasion including parties,  weddings, or tailgates.
